Women's Institute

Great Hucklow and District WI Group was founded twenty-six years ago; it is a lively group of women who are young in spirit and enjoy meeting together for a social evening or to discuss important issues which especially affect women and families, whether world-wide or local. In addition to the monthly meetings, which offer a very varied programme of talks and demonstrations, we organise visits, walks and an annual dinner. Gone are the days of ‘jam and Jerusalem’; new members are always welcome and the WI offers an excellent means of getting to know other women and can be a great support for newcomers. Contact Patricia Miles (Secretary), tel. 01298 871385.
