Alan Titchmarsh kindly opened the kitchen garden and met school children, parents and teachers, residents and visitors staying at the Nightingale Centre. He and his wife Alison, who accompanied him, were representing their Gardening for Schools scheme, which had awarded the School a grant of £500.
