Fell Race

The Great Hucklow Fell Race takes place in mid-July. Runners come from far and wide to take part in a gruelling six mile race, from Great Hucklow up to Abney Moor 500 feet above, then down into Bretton Clough. Refreshments including bananas and flapjacks await the runners on their return to Great Hucklow. The quickest runners complete the route in around 45 minutes.

The Village organises the race, provides the refreshments and around forty marshalls for the race. If you can help, please contact Community Spirit.
