Hucklow & District Twinning Association - Aims

What is twinning about?

Friendship and understanding between people in and around the two twinned villages.

Exchange visits between individuals, couples and families who would like to experience the culture and countryside of the other twin.

Fun and adventure for children and teenagers who can exchange emails, letters, photographs, paintings and recordings.

Partnership between teachers and parents of the two primary schools to help the children learn about life in the other country.

Opportunities for anyone interested, children and adults alike, to practise speaking in both English and French

Scope to share sporting and other interests.

Being a part of, contributing to and enjoying the festivals and celebrations of both communities.

Exhibitions of photos and films about people, places and activities of both communities so that we can, together, follow the evolution of our partnership.
